Kellie Martin. Martin is an American television and film actress. She is most famous for playing Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. In addition, she is famous for playing the lead role on the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin's acting career started at age seven, when an aunt a former nanny who cared her children Michael Landon, helped secure a spot as a special character in the 1982 film 'Father Murphy.' After graduating from Yale University, she took acting seriously and was able to land significant roles both on the small screen and the large screen. Apart from being an actor, Martin is also a talented photographer as well as a ballet dancer. Martin is also a mom of two, and also the spokesperson of Lupus. Following her 19 year old sister's passing, Martin has worked to spread awareness of the disease.
