Michele Carey, known by her birth name Michele Lee Henson, born in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America She is the child of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr, physician, a Thelma Brennell Henson. As a teen, she excelled at playing the piano, and at age 13 she took home an international prize at the Chicago Music Festival. The family moved to Fort Collins in Colorado, and she finished her high school studies at Fort Collins High School in 1960.
