Rene Marie Russo has been a model, actress and filmmaker in the US. Apart from her beautiful beauty, her continued success in the film industry is testament to her abilities as an actor. The model began her modeling career in the 70s. Soon, she became one the top models. From the 80s onwards, she attended acting classes and studied theater before appearing on theater stage of Los Angeles. The year 1987 saw Russo played Eden Kendell on ABC's show Sable. Her debut film, Major League was released in the year following. Russo was Tom Berengers 'love interest. Her initial doubts were about her ability as an actor but critics soon became confident after her steady performance. She was praised for her role in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak, where she was competing with Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. But, as per her own admissions, she was never passionate about the role. After a prolonged absence, she decided to self-impose on herself to act in 2005. In the movie Thor it was her return to her acting. She also starred in Nightcrawler which was her husband's Oscar Award winning film. The Intern and Just Getting Started are two light-hearted films in which she starred.
Rose Namajunas ranks among the top UFC female athletes. Her journey began in the amateur ranks, participating in various regional events. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her up and she later became a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championships. The success she has achieved both inside and outside from the Octagon have helped make her famous since she joined the UFC. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on June 29, 1992. Rose participated in kickboxing and basketball while growing up. Invicta Fighting Championships took her on her at age 18 and went on to beat two opponents via submission. Dana White took notice of the fact that she had won, and was signed to UFC's strawweight category at the end of December 2014, when she was only 22. Rose has been through highs as well as lows throughout her professional career, yet she always emerges victorious. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza at The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale in April 2015. The winner was given the Women's Strawweight Champion and also won the title of Fighter of the Night. It was the very first time that a female was able to fight a big promotion for a championship. Namajunas was able to win several fights following her win including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. The win earned Namajunas Performance Of The Night accolades from UFC.
